We think you'll like them better this way. This teaching was inspired by the Holy Spirt, who moved on my heart to speak to the church. The bible gives us a image of a Harlot who is called the Mystery Of Babylon. Babylon was once the center for Idolatry, and false religion. Nimroid built a tower that he believed could reach heaven, this was the start of Apostate Religion. There is a falling away that is prophesied in our bible, that is suppose to occur right before the coming of Christ.

And will send unto Babylon fanners that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

Jeremiah Keep in mind where the actual city of Babylon is located. Jeremiah So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon. This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in!

Everyone that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.

Intoxicated With Babylon 01/09 by Evangelist Jordan Wells | Christianity

Zephaniah And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. Revelation And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. Babylon is described as a mystery sitting on waters which are composed of people and nations and languages.

And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither, I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the sprit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

And the angel said unto me, wherefore didst thou marvel? The angel goes on to describe the mystery Babylon. The beast that holds her up has 7 heads and 10 horns representing 7 nations and 10 horns representing 10 kings or rulers and the beast controlling it all is Satan who was, who will appear again and be sent into perdition.

Intoxicated with Babylon : The Seduction of God's People in the Last Days

I will tell the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not, and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

And here is the mind, which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And the ten horns, which thou sawest, are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These all will make war against Jesus, who is the Lamb, and He along with the called, chosen and faithful will overcome these evil ones.

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. And he saith unto me, The waters, which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Nightcore - Boys and Girls (Zico feat. Babylon)

And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. More likely it is the corrupting influence of human traditions that aims to replace the pure Word of God.

This is the wine Babylon has served to the nations around the world, empty religiosity. She is, but in a much more subtle way than many realize.

Your Adventure is Waiting...

Her religious attire colored in the colors of the high priest minus one ; her intoxicating wine, a mixture of gospel truths permeated and made null by human tradition; the abundant waters that appear refreshing; the very fact that she is depicted as a woman, a symbol of a church.

All combine to make her outlook attractive. Ultimately, she is in company with the beast and behind them both stands the dragon, Satan, whose ultimate aim is to redirect the allegiance of humans and their worship away from where it truly belongs, God, and onto himself. Which is exactly what he had tried to do in heaven when he rebelled against God, and what he has been trying to do on earth ever since he tempted Eve.
